Welcome

My name is Dawn Lanthier and I am a Registered Nurse and an International Board certified Lactation Consultant(IBCLC) with 30 years experience working with families and their babies at the IWK Health Centre. You may have met me there! I can also be found at the Collaborative Breastfeeding Clinic in Timberlea.

I am deeply passionate about my work with parents and babies at this exciting but vulnerable time in their lives. I believe strongly in the strength and resilience of families. In those moments of uncertainty, feeling overwhelmed or exhausted, I am able to provide not only my expertise in dealing with complex feeding challenges, but provide the emotional support and understanding that comes after caring for countless families and watching them transform into confident and empowered parents.

In my free time, I love spending time with my 6 boys/grown men, hiking, camping, reading or knitting.
